Crystal Skull MAYA
Re-discovery
Back in 1987, Jane Doherty traveled to Mexico and was drawn to a true Mayan Quartz Crystal Skull, which was aptly named MAYA. The first thing that stands out about the small Ancient Crystal Skull MAYA is that it has three rows of teeth, it has a symbol of a triangle for the nose, and has an elongated body with indentations on the side - similar to the ancient amethyst crystal skull AMI. MAYA's appearance has shown to change over time, going from milky white to clear quartz.
Found in Mayan ruins, this 5-pound quartz crystal skull was locked in a glass case marked "artifacts" in a store in Cuernavaca, Mexico. MAYA was the only crystal skull to participate at the Mayan Solar Ceremonies at Chichen Itza on March 21, 1995.
Jane Doherty, along with her crystal skull MAYA, was one of the speakers that was present at all four of the major Ancient Crystal Skulls World Mysteries Conferences: 9/9/9, 10/10/10, 11/11/11, and 12/12/12.
